Through-type shelving

Through-type racking, also known as aisle-type racking or drive-in racking, allows forklifts (or unmanned transport vehicles with forks) to enter the aisle to retrieve goods. It is suitable for storing goods with few varieties but large batches. For through-type racking, except for the positions near the aisle, since forklifts need to enter the interior of the racking to retrieve goods, it is generally recommended that single-sided retrieval should not exceed seven positions in depth. To enhance forklift operating speed, guide rails can be installed as needed. Compared to pallet racking, drive-in racking (drive-through racking) can increase warehouse space utilization by over 30%. Drive-in racking (drive-through racking) is widely used in wholesale, cold storage, and food and tobacco industries.
